JBoss as the method server in 6.5

With Documentum 6.5, JBoss is embedded with Content Server to support the running
of all Content Server Java-based components including:

• Java Method Server
• ACS
• BOCS
• DMS
• IA

Weblogic is no longer embedded in the Content Server.

If you are upgrading from version 5.3.x, 6, or 6 SP1 to version 6.5, the upgrade will
not remove the binaries of the Tomcat and WebLogic application servers. This is
because Tomcat and Weblogic are supported for client and UCF type applications,
while JBoss is used for the Java method server.
